Antler Repairs and Coloring
Good friend Rube W. brought me a set of coues deer horns and asked me to fix them and re-color. I know I was up against a big challenge but wanted to give it a try. This is what I started with.
Below is my brother Vaughn's 2012 buck that had a busted G2. Here it is fixed.
As you can see they are really cracked up and pretty chalky with 2 busted points on the right side. I fixed the points.
After the fixing the points and cracks the painting began.
As you can see the back point still wasn't the color I was looking for so I worked a little bit longer and the bottom is the finished product. It turned out well. If you have a dead head that you picked up or sheds that you would like to get fixed up bring them in and let us help assess them and see if they are repairable.

Awesome Coues!
Here are a few more coues that we just finished up for the Palmer family. We thank them for using BCT! The big three point scores right around 108" and the smaller frame buck is just over 100" I love the trash around the eye-guards. Enjoy.

450" Bull Elk
We just finished this bull up. The bull was killed in Nebraska by Ross R. The bull scored right around 450" and is an absolutely amazing specimen. A big thanks goes out to Ross for using BCT! Enjoy the pics.
This puts into perspective how massive this thing is!

Elvis the Giant!
So here goes.......I have been meaning to post this for awhile as Elvis has traveled with us up to the sunrise bow shoot and also was on our wall for the grand opening. A guy found the right side shed of Elvis up on the Navajo. After a ton of searching the other side was never found. They decided to have an artist render the other side. The artist carved the other side out of wood. Good friend Steve Stayner of Sage Antlers was asked to make the replicas of Elvis. Cooper Reidhead bought a set of replicas and we mounted them for him. The bucks typical 4 point frame is right around 40 inches wide and scores right around 230! With the extras he is between 250 and 260 inches. This buck is absolutely incredible!

European Coues Deer
We just recently finished up this dead head pickup coues deer. The deer is awesome especially the big 4 point side! This deer was white and cracked up pretty bad. If you look closely in the white pictures you can see we fixed the cracks and then colored the horns back as well as bleached the skull. Enjoy the pics.

Governors Tag Coues
We just finished up a pedestal mount for Marc Lopeman of Mossback Arizona Guides and Outfitters. This is one of the governor's tag coues from this past year. The replicas were done by Steve Stayner of Sage Antlers. As you can see he does a phenomenal job. This is an awesome mount with some extra detail work as you can see. We inlaid a picture of Marc with the buck into the back of the pedestal. We used a resin to overlay the picture to give it a glossy tile look. It turned out awesome and is a definite jaw dropper when you walk in the room!!!!

Grand It Was!
We would like to thank all who helped make the grand opening of our new shop possible as well as all of our awesome clients who showed up to support us. I wanted to post some pics of the grand opening and invite all who weren't able to make to come and check it out. The archery hunts are around the corner! Come and get that bow tuned up and get a new quiver full of arrows and broadheads. Thanks again for all who attended.
